While Alice is the storyboard and panel creator of the comic, Jay is the other genius behind it all. Growing up, he was fascinated by various comics and animated TV series including X-Men, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon and Digimon, as well as Marvel and DC comics/movies, and he dreamt that one day he’d create his own. The comic tells the story of an exceptional young teen from St Micheal’s High, a kid who never had any luck and was moved from one foster home to another. All Micheal wants is a friend, someone with whom he could share his accomplishments and connect with. Micheal, who is an expert in the vast field of science, continuously searches for something big. One day his long-sought-after achievement arrives in a different form, one which he never imagined.
With immense abilities now coursing through his veins, Micheal, fueled by rage and retribution, is faced with a decision that could lead either to his fortune or his demise. Will Micheal choose the right path, or will he let his vengeance rule him?
Blending sci-fi, superhero, and Manga elements, this tale asks one big question: How would you react if you woke up one day with an immense power? Chances are, you would somehow change the world. But would you do the right thing and change it for the better? There is no easy answer and that is what makes THE DRAYCOX AWAKENS such a gripping read.
